Andrade Gonzalez LLP seeks an Insurance Coverage Associate in Los Angeles, CA to represent policyholders in complex insurance recovery disputes; Develop legal strategies in multiparty insurance recovery disputes; Conduct legal research and handle all phases of litigation in insurance coverage litigation; Advise clients concerning the advisability of prosecuting or defending lawsuits, and their legal rights and obligations; and Draft pleadings, and handle settlement negotiations in civil lawsuits. Qualified candidates must have a Juris Doctor or LL.M Degree (or foreign equivalent) and at least 1 year of experience in a legal support or similar role. Experience must include the following: 6 months of experience in negotiations; Working knowledge of insurance coverage disputes; and Demonstrated understanding of alternative dispute resolution (ADR), including arbitration and mediation procedures.
