Job Title: Senior Salesforce Developer, Tech and Operations Lead

Job Duties:

Maintain and enhance Salesforce custom code in both Classic and Lightning platforms leveraging Triggers, Apex, Batch Apex, Visual Force, (link removed) IDE, SOQL, SOSL, and object-oriented design patterns (OOP).
Maintain and enhance custom configurations and reports in both Classic and Lightning platforms leveraging Salesforce Lightning Design Systems (SDLS), Lightning Aura framework, SFDC customized reports and dashboards.
Develop additional tools, integrations, and APIs outside of the Salesforce ecosystem leveraging Azure, C# .NET, Node.js, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, encrypted file transfer (SFTP, GPG), REST APIs.
Maintain and enhance the overall development, build, and release processes using Salesforce Developer Experience (SF DX), Jenkins, Azure DevOps Git repositories, and CICD patterns.
Maintain and enhance our customers’ security implementations through configuration of profiles, roles, permission sets, OWD, role hierarchy, sharing rules.
Develop and maintain custom API calls using .NET and Zapier.
Develop and maintain unit, integration, and regression test automation suites using jUnit and Cypress.
Use SOQL Query Builder to write and maintain queries and triggers for our customers’ Salesforce orgs.
Manage and execute Salesforce package releases and maintain build pipeline, both for push upgrades and manual package updates, automating steps where possible.
Use and maintain expertise in various software development tooling including IntelliJ, Jenkins, jUnit, VS Code, Azure, Azure DevOps, Azure App Insights.
Lead the development/delivery (leveraging Agile and Scrum software development methodologies), and performance management for a small team of Salesforce developers and admins (2-5).
Maintain full awareness of the latest Salesforce enhancements and mandates.
Maintain expertise in related Salesforce platforms to lead future development in Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Salesforce communities.
Advocate for unit testing, source control management, build automation, and clean code.
Lead the conversion to modern Salesforce features including lightning components, SFDX, and generation 2 packaging.
Maintain a technical backlog partnering as a peer with the Senior Product Manager.
Mentor junior developers in software development and Salesforce best practices.
Act as point of contact and escalation point for all Level 4 troubleshooting efforts.
Interact directly with customers on problem resolution and requirements gathering.

This is a fully remote position. The employee can work from home from any U.S. location. The worksite is unanticipated.

Degree Required: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or closely related field.

Experience Required: 4 years of experience as a Salesforce Developer.

Special Requirements:

4 years as a Salesforce Developer to include 1 year in OOP software development field.

Demonstrable proficiency and prior experience in the following Salesforce-related technologies:
Salesforce Classic and Lightning platforms;
Salesforce related platforms - Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Salesforce communities;
Salesforce Developer Experience (SFDX);
Salesforce Lightning experience, Salesforce Lightning Design Systems (SDLS), Lightning Aura framework;
SFDC customized reports and dashboards;
Salesforce custom development using Triggers, Apex, Batch Apex, Visual Force, (link removed) IDE, SOQL, SOSL; and,
Salesforce security features including profiles, roles, permission sets, OWD, role hierarchy, sharing rules.

Demonstrable proficiency and prior experience in the following technologies:
Java;
OOP design patterns;
IntelliJ;
Jenkins;
Encrypted file transfer (SFTP, GPG);
Git;
REST APIs;
HTML, CSS, Javascript; and,
jUnit.

Demonstrable proficiency and prior experience in:
Agile software development methodologies (Scrum);
Continuous integration and continuous delivery (CICD); and,
Testing – unit, integration, regression.


Travel Required: Travel to EverCommerce, Inc., headquarters, 3601 Walnut St., Suite 400, Denver CO, 80205 or to EverCommerce Columbus Office, 4249 Easton Way, Suite 100
Columbus OH, 43219 once per quarter for 3-5 days.
