Cambridge Mobile Telematics, Inc is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Cloud in Cambridge, MA. Job Duties: Train and guide junior developers on proper software development procedures and methods; Participate in code and design reviews; Assist in solving complex problems and transform them into business solutions; Analyze and translate business and functional specifications and change requests into technical specifications; and Full stack design and development with a focus on maintainability, usability, scalability and performance. Telecommuting may be permitted, 2 to 3 days per week.
Position requires Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science or another related field plus four (4) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation. Alternatively, employer will also accept Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, or related field plus two (2) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation as an equivalent to the BS+4 requirement. Must have the following experience gained any amount either via coursework or work experience in: (i)Programming skills and knowledge of modern HTML/CSS, jQuery; (ii) Python and JavaScript/TypeScript; (iii) Experience throughout the stack web applications, API, and database; (iv) Knowledge of, and ability to use, relational database systems; and (V) Web applications.
