Lead design, development and engineering of new frameworks for model training and scoring to solve novel business problems; Oversee development and delivery of next generation Machine Learning and Natural Language Processing frameworks for margin generating data products; Manage data science applications and liaise with partners in IT and Infrastructure team to develop new approaches and systems for efficiently implementing Data Science solutions; Work with Data Scientists and Data Engineers to develop new patterns of big data architectures and analytic system development; Migrate legacy data pipelines to distributed/cloud environments; Develop feature engineering frameworks for various entities to fast-track model development/deployment; Ensure data availability across platforms/environment; Develop frameworks for model serving (i.e., API development); Help debug complex system issues and rollout fixes; and Review current frameworks/workflows and making process improvements like query tuning and performance optimization. Partial work from home benefit available.
Requires 2 years of experience as a Data Scientist, Machine Learning Engineer, or in a related occupation. Requires experience with: Developing scalable traditional and big data based end-to-end Machine Learning Frameworks; Extracting data from multiple disparate data sources and implementing time series forecasting model using ARIMA; Deploying Machine Learning models in production using CI/CD tools (i.e. Jenkins, Docker); Creating anomaly detection methodologies; Performing data cleaning and extraction; Creating data for training Machine Learning models; and Using: Machine Learning algorithms (i.e., Kmeans Clustering), Python (Pandas, Numpy, Matplotlib), SQL, Github, VScode, Pyspark, Hadoop, Hive, Keras, Neural networks, LSTM, Plotly, Streamlit, Tableau, MS-SQL server, SCRUM, and JIRA.
Requires a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Information Technology, or a related field.
