Research market conditions in local, regional, national and international areas to identify potential commercial clients and identify business issues/opportunities in automotive steel for North American market; consult with internal clients and colleagues to understand automotive steel trend knowledge needs; design format for data collection such as surveys, opinion polls or questionnaires; monitor and analyze test market studies to evaluate in-market performance of the steel movement as raw materials; provide the parent companys managements with information needed to make decisions on the promotion, distribution and pricing of raw steel; maintain tracking books and report data through utilization of multiple information sources; and identify and develop appropriate partnerships and channels in automotive steel market.
