Onsite Coordinator/Project Engineer- Plainfield, IL-Onsite FTE/C2C Roles & Responsibilities: Be the interface between client engineering teams & Quest Global offshore team in Bangalore on all the aspects of engagements. Study & understand the Project requirements, work closely with client engineering teams to understand the project scope, guide and or help client teams in packaging the work scope for outsourcing to Quest Global. Work with client teams in getting the missing inputs or by connecting with the end customer according the directions from the client. Share the project work scope with Quest Global offshore team for preparing the proposal. Coordinate the proposal preparation activities between Offshore team and client teams and submit the proposal. Post award of project, coordinate the project execution activities by facilitating interaction between offshore team and client teams. Attend/drive Kick-off meetings, preparing division of responsibilities, deliverables list and schedule. Contribute on technical aspects of the projects by working closely with offshore team by performing one or more of the following as necessary. Preparation & checking of engineering PFD, P&ID, datasheets, schedules, 3D plant layout, GA, spool, and plumbing runs, frame drawings, fabrication drawings & release drawings to drafting, production & planning department according to clients standard procedure. Design & selection of material, equipment & piping as per customers standard guidelines. Selection of equipment & Instruments and preparation of valve and pipe schedules. Performing design, equipment sizing and pipe sizing calculations. Detail engineering by making process datasheets, valve schedule, pipe schedule, Instrument list etc. Preparation of Bill of Material & releasing to procurement through ERP system. Set-up & drive project review meetings according to the defined frequency & report out the progress to client engineering managers Communication & Coordination with Project Manager and inter disciplinary Departments for approving engineering document and drawing. Follow up with clients for pipeline projects and have the work scope package ready to ensure offshore team has enough work load regularly Ensure projects are delivered On-time with quality & budget. Take client feedback on the projects delivered & addresses discrepancies of any Required Skills (Technical Competency): Bachelor of Engineering/Technology (B.E /B.Tech, BS) in Mechanical/Chemical Engineering 10-12 years of experience in working on Water & Wastewater Treatment Plant projects Experience of working from Client location from an Engineering Services Provider Good experience in Global coordination and relationship building. Has worked to provide technical solutions for complex projects, project management and troubleshooting related issues Good written and verbal English communication skills and ability to interact with all levels within engineering organization Good at hands on experience in the following software tools, MS Office, AutoCAD, MicroStation, SAP or any other related software Experience of working in Plant or Project site is an added advantage
