Multi-Spindle Screw Machine Operator

A leading manufacturer in NE Ohio is seeking an experienced Multi-Spindle Screw Machine Operator to join our growing team. In this role you will set up and operate Acme or Davenport multi-spindle screw machines to precision machine component parts for various industries.

Responsibilities:

• Setting up and operating multi-spindle screw machines in a fast-paced environment with a focus on safety and quality


• Meeting or exceeding daily production targets


• Reading blueprints to determine specifications for each job


• Installing tooling such as collets, pushers, gears, cams etc. as needed


• Measuring and inspecting parts to ensure conformance to quality standards


• Making machine adjustments to maintain required tolerances


• Tearing down set-ups after job completion


• Replacing and sharpening tooling when needed


• Collaborating and communicating with team members

Requirements:

• 2+ years experience operating Acme or Davenport multi-spindle screw machines


• Experience using inspection tools like gauges, micrometers, and calipers


• Ability to read blueprints and specifications


• Mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity


• Detail-oriented with strong quality focus


• Self-motivated and teamwork oriented
