Global Mobility Manager (The Boston Consulting Group, Inc. - Boston, MA) - Lead global mobility transfers by providing mobility expertise to local offices, functions, businesses and global program managers throughout the mobility process, while also ensuring compliance with internal policies and external requirements. Specific duties include: serve as a first point of contact for staff on a mobility experience and work closely with the individual, home and host office, vendors and internal experts to coordinate a seamless transferee experience; advise local mobility staff and other stakeholders on mobility and related policies and processes; advise on BCG’s mobility offering, relocation support, policies, process and tools; provide case management for transfers to the North America region; conduct pre-move briefings with transferees; run cost estimates and employee net pay illustrations; initiate vendor services; proactively monitor transfer status, identify, and action upcoming returns, extensions or changes of status; deliver training to new and incumbent mobility, HR, and Finance staff in local offices and businesses; and participate in the team’s journey to continue to modernize mobility tools and processes. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Psychology or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) plus eight (8) years of experience as an HR Specialist or related occupation, responsible for recruiting, staffing, mobility, and/or professional development, which must include at least two (2) years of experience leading global mobility transfers within a multinational organization. In lieu of Bachelor's degree and eight (8) years of experience as previously noted, BCG will accept a Master’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Psychology or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) and six (6) years of experience as an HR Specialist or related occupation, responsible for recruiting, staffing, mobility, and/or professional development, which must include at least two (2) years of experience leading global mobility transfers within a multinational organization. Specific skills/other requirements (quantitative experience requirement is not applicable to section) – must possess the following: managing vendors in a client service role with relocation providers; running international relocation cost estimates and employee net pay illustrations, initiating vendor services, and monitoring transfer statuses using Assignment Pro and WorkDay; executing transfer applications and transfer requests both inbound and outbound; processing exception requests and problem solving in a cross functional and cross border context; coordinating and managing global mobility events and projects; coordinating with global mobility teams and internal and external stakeholders using collaboration tools including Slack, SharePoint, and /or Trello; drafting and analyzing reports in Assignment Pro and WorkDay on mobility activity and presenting to internal stakeholders; and preparing and conducting worldwide training regarding specific mobility topics, processes, and change initiatives. Partial telecommute benefit available. Must report to and reside within commutable distance of the listed BCG office. M-F, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. 45+ hours per week.
