Healthcare BI Developer Senior (Winston-Salem, NC)

Support development of new and existing business intelligence products for clinical analytics. Develop data extraction, transformation, load, and visualization processes for clinical analytics use cases, develop and implement test cases, automation of BI processes through scheduling and exception-handling as well as documentation, support, and maintenance. Guide and advise less experienced BI Developers. Work closely with Clinical Analytics and Informatics leadership to develop analytical tools that company leadership can utilize in making data driven decisions.

Position is 100% remote, but employee should reside within the metro area of the office.

Job Requirements: Master’s OR Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Information Systems, Applied Computer Science, or related field. Foreign equivalents accepted.

5 years experience (or 7 years with Bachelor’s degree) as an ETL Developer or related software developer occupation.

Must include some experience with:
- Python, Perl and Unix
- SQL Server
- AWS Redshift, Snowflake
- Microsoft OLAP architecture
- Azure Data Factory, AWS Glue, AWS CloudWatch, Informatica Power Center, SSIS
- Power BI, SSRS
- HL7 standards for exchange of health data
- Epic EHR software
- Role of healthcare payor types
