Position Title: Business Analyst II

Location: Sunnyvale, California


Position Responsibilities:

1. Contribute to the design, development and management of scalable solutions for ongoing metrics, reports, analyses and dashboards for the ongoing analysis of business, financial and operational data, practices and procedures to support the development and innovation business operations and decisions; 2. Develop and execute complex data querying and analysis to gather large quantities of data from disparate sources for sophisticated comparative and predictive analysis; 3. Develop and deliver impactful business recommendations based on gathered business intelligence to influence critical decisions across business areas and functions; 4. Leverage business intelligence analysis best practices, techniques and tools to identify trends, gaps and outliers in large quantities of data to ensure analyzed data supports well-founded conclusions/recommendations; 5. Deliver and own data-led performance improvement projects to increase efficacy and efficiency; 6. Support data synthesis/translation into approachable recommendations for business teams to execute high impact and routine business and process improvements/efficiencies; 7. Work directly with senior management to analyze data and produce tangible insights that guide roadmaps; 8. Build recurring and ad hoc analytical models to inform operational strategy in a fast-moving, high volume environment; 9. Develop new techniques to process large data sets ,address quantitative problems ,and recommend white spaces for experimentation; 10. Support the ongoing maintenance and delivery of regular business plans based on business intelligence data ,in addition to ad hoc/special project business intelligence/analysis planning projects; and 11. Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective delivery of impactful business decisions. 12. Telecommuting benefits available.

Position Requirements:

A master's degree or foreign equivalent in Management Science, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Analytics, Computer Engineering or a related field and 1 year of experience in business analysis, business intelligence engineering, data engineering, or data mining. In the alternative, a bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent Management Science, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Analytics, Computer Engineering or a related field and 3 years of experience in business analysis, business intelligence engineering, data engineering, or data mining. Experience must include: 1. 1 year of experience in business analysis or consulting. 2. 1 year of experience in statistics and using data to back up assumptions, develop business cases, and complete root cause analysis. 3. 1 year of experience in process improvement including Six Sigma and/or AGILE techniques. 4. 1 year of experience researching, analyzing and summarizing data into impactful business cases using SQL, Excel and Access.


40 hours / week, 8:00am-5:00pm, Salary Range $137,048/year to $143,100/year
