Lead Software Analyst Remote- The candidate has to be from Grand Rapids, Michigan Please find additional details about the requirement. The position is remote but would need to be in MI office once or twice every 2 weeks for PI meetings and whiteboarding sessions. This is lead role with strong background and experience in Analysis but also need exp in Microsoft technology as a developer. The Tech Stack needed would (link removed), C#, SQL, Azure, Azure Data Factory, Cosmos DB with backend heavy exp. Description: ABOUT THE ROLE: 10+ years of relevant work experience Responsible for rewriting code and providing updates to the users Strong experience working with customers to maintain existing software as needed Participate in code reviews and provide technical expertise, analyze and modify software systems Implement and test programs for business goals and fit to user needs SELLING POINTS: Meijer is dedicated to utilizing new technologies and staying on the leading edge. They have currently been working to add Blazer to their tech stack while growing their cloud footprint outside of just Azure to utilize some AWS and GCP. Their Digital Services team has a growth model they cannot keep up with the hiring on. Looking to add 3 extra Scrum Teams to Digital Services in 2023.Meijer is comfortable keeping contractors fully remote forever and offer year over year extensions. As long as a consultant is doing well and enjoying their work, they will be staying on assignment. The ideal candidate for this role has 10+ years of relevant work experience. Software analysts are responsible for all aspects of software development projects. They work with customers to develop an understanding of their needs and the specifications the project will require. After careful planning and research, they work with other software developers to produce code and a system to meet those specifications. They help test the software to ensure it fully meets their customers? needs. Once the completed project is delivered, software analysts work with the customer to install and learn to effectively use the program. If any issues arise, they are responsible for rewriting code and providing updates to the users. They also work with customers to maintain existing software as needed throughout its lifetime. Software Analyst Tasks include: Participating in code reviews and providing technical expertise; Analyzing and modifying software systems using a variety of coding languages; Implementing and testing programs for business goals, ensuring fit to user needs; Documenting existing systems, proposed modifications, and software requirements.
