Position Overview:

As a Design Engineer (Civil) with a specialized focus on Post Tensioning, you will play a pivotal role in the design, analysis, and execution of our projects. Your experience and technical knowledge will contribute to the successful delivery of cutting-edge infrastructure solutions, ensuring our projects are structurally sound, efficient, and sustainable.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other engineering teams to develop comprehensive design strategies for infrastructure projects involving post tensioning.

Perform structural analysis and design calculations to determine the optimal post tensioning systems and methodologies for various projects.

Prepare detailed engineering drawings, plans, and specifications using industry-standard software and tools.

Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations throughout the design process.

Contribute to the development of innovative solutions that enhance the performance, durability, and cost-effectiveness of post tensioned structures.

Participate in interdisciplinary coordination meetings to integrate your designs with other project components.

Review and provide input on contractor submittals and construction documents to ensure alignment with design intent.

Assist in the resolution of technical challenges during construction, offering expert guidance and adapting designs as necessary.

Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to post tensioning and civil engineering.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. Master's degree preferred.

Proven experience of 2-3 years as a Design Engineer with a specific focus on Post Tensioning projects.

Strong proficiency in structural analysis and design software, such as ETABS, SAP2000, SAFE, etc.

In-depth understanding of post tensioning principles, methods, and best practices.

Familiarity with relevant codes and standards (ACI, PTI, AISC, etc.).

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively to address complex engineering challenges.

Proficient in using AutoCAD and other drafting tools for preparing detailed engineering drawings.

Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams, clients, and contractors.

Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering accurate and high-quality design documentation.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
