Agile Coach for Cepheid in Sunnyvale, CA to work with multiple scrum teams on developing software for medical devices. Guide team in Scrum best practices and ensure on time delivery of software releases. Responsible for guiding scrum teams in the key tenets of Lean Software Development and Agile Methodology. Establish, implement, and continuously improve best practices for scrum development. Remove impediments blocking scrum teams from developing and releasing medical device software. Develop and maintain key performance metrics on the software development process. Maintain project schedule through easy to understand data and graphs. Facilitate discussions on user stories, design, and project schedule. Setup and facilitate scrum meetings such as Planning, Refinement, and Daily Stand-up. Implement new best practices in software development process. Serving as Agile Coach.

Education Required:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field (willing to accept foreign equivalent) plus five (5) years of experience as a developer/engineer working in Agile development and Scrum team settings.

OR

Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field (willing to accept foreign equivalent) and three (3) years of experience as a developer/engineer working in Agile development and Scrum team settings.

Position is a telecommuting position and can be performed from anywhere in the U.S.

Skills Required:

Experience must include: Working with ALM tools such as Helix or JIRA; agile development and collaboration in Scrum team meetings; facilitating medium-to-high complexity Agile initiatives from initiation through release, providing oversight to ensure alignment with Agile/Scrum practices; facilitating and engaging in business analysis, user experience and technical conversations across platforms and multiple levels of influence; coaching teams on agile values and practices; managing release planning for highly complex projects; and tracking and generating KPIss.
