Technical Training Manager, The Heil Co. (dba 3rd Eye), Chattanooga, TN:



· Utilize engineering knowledge and background to develop and manage technical training programs for U.S.-based manufacturing facilities.

· Conduct analysis to identify where standard work instruction training should be utilized based upon engineering specifications.

· Support other engineers in development of work instructions and providing training to manufacturing teams.

· Work with engineering leadership to develop technical training and technical training courses to expand the knowledge of engineering and other team members on the components of Battery Electric Vehicles (BEV).

· Build and supervise execution of the annual training plan for manufacturing sites ensuring all training quality standards are upheld.

· Assess training needs through quality reports, surveys, interviews with employees, focus groups, or consultations with managers, instructors, or customer representatives.

· Create, deliver, and build training courses and programs in alignment with annual training plan.

· Assess training effectiveness to ensure the technical skills and knowledge is transferred to engineers and other applicable team members.

· Design training using a variety of engaging instructional techniques or formats, such as role playing, simulations, team exercises, group discussions, videos, or lectures.

· Responsible for administration of the HR Central (SuccessFactors) Learning Management System.

· Develop and maintain a skill-based training methodology for specific job roles and job levels in support of the overall ESG compensation plan.



Full time employment, Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week.




MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:



Employer requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related technical field and 3 years of experience in instructional design for manufacturing.



Of the required experience, must have:



· 3 years of experience with Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) training design;

· 3 years of experience developing training plans based upon budgetary requirements and projected ROI;

· 3 years of experience instructing/facilitating Technical Training Courses;

· 3 years of experience with Human Resources, Training, or Organizational Development;

· 3 years of experience working with instructional design specific to Lean manufacturing;

· 3 years of experience developing Engineering Work Instructions specific to BEVs;

· 3 years of experience with administration of Learning Management System such as SuccessFactors; and

· 1 year of experience with developing skill-based training program in support of compensation strategy.



Up to 20% domestic travel required.

Telecommuting permitted up to 2 days per week.
