Principal Statistical Programmers, Sarepta Therapeutics, Inc., HQ in Cambridge, MA: The Principal Statistical Programmer serves as a statistical programming expert or point of contact for assigned clinical studies under limited/minimal supervision of the statistical programming project lead, and may lead program-level activities. Daily duties include: Effectively design and code SAS programs using BASE/SAS, SAS/STAT, SAS/GRAPH and SAS MACROS for assigned clinical projects(s); Produce and deliver CDISC and regulatory compliant SDTM, and ADaM standard datasets; Create and validate tables, figures, and listings (TFLs) in a timely and high-quality fashion, consistently meeting objectives of the study, and regulatory requirements; Provide input in the design and development of case report forms and clinical databases; Provide input in the user requirements specification, system design specifications, validation plan, and installation/operational/performance qualification for statistical programming systems; Create automated, standard programming; SAS, macros and stored procedures as required; Perform quality control checks/validation of SAS code and output produced by other Statistical Programmers for SDTM datasets, ADaM datasets and TFLs; Review or author aCRF, SDTM and ADaM datasets specifications for datasets programming; Provide programing support for adhoc analysis; Identify problems and develop global tools that increase the efficiency and capacity of the Statistical Programming group (e.g., macros or graphical user interface applications); Manage project timelines and schedules of specific phases of projects with internal personnel and external vendors; Provide oversight of statistical programming activities of vendors; Develop and review eCTD documents to support regulatory submission package; Acts as a lead programmer for study(s); and Review statistical programming related Standard Operating Procedures or Working Instructions. This position is a 100% remote telecommute position from within the U.S.

Minimum requirements: Master’s Degree (foreign equivalent degrees accepted) in statistics, biostatistics, physical sciences (e.g., chemistry) or a closely related field of study and 5 years of experience in any related occupation within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry, performing SAS statistical programming; or, in the alternative, a Bachelor’s Degree (foreign equivalent degrees accepted) in statistics, biostatistics, physical sciences (e.g., chemistry) or a closely related field of study and 7 years of progressive experience in any related occupation within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry, performing SAS statistical programming. Basic pay range is one hundred forty-nine thousand dollars to one hundred eighty-four thousand dollars for full-time employment and standard company benefits. The salary offer is commensurate with Sarepta’s compensation philosophy and considers factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, external market conditions, criticality of role, and internal equity.
