Job Title: Non-Clinical Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and organized LPN to join our non-clinical team. In this role, you will primarily be responsible for providing administrative support and assisting with various non-clinical tasks within our healthcare facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality.

Responsibilities:

Assist with administrative duties such as scheduling appointments, answering phones, and managing medical records.
Provide support to clinical staff by preparing examination rooms, sterilizing equipment, and stocking supplies.
Coordinate with patients to ensure timely completion of paperwork and documentation.
Assist with insurance verification, billing, and coding procedures as needed.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure efficient workflow and patient satisfaction.
Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and quality improvement initiatives.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment to uphold infection control standards.
Adhere to all relevant policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure compliance with healthcare laws and guidelines.
Provide exceptional customer service to patients and visitors by addressing inquiries and concerns in a professional manner.
Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall functioning of the healthcare facility.
Qualifications:

Current LPN license in good standing with the state board of nursing.
High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training or education in healthcare administration is a plus.
Prior experience in a non-clinical healthcare setting preferred.
Proficiency in computer applications such as electronic medical records (EMR) systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and medical billing software.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and record-keeping.
Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and privacy.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
CPR certification may be required depending on the specific job responsibilities.
Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand, walk, and lift upto 50 pounds.
Manual dexterity and visual acuity for performing tasks such as typing, filing, and operating office equipment.
