Provide engineering & technical support for airframe related problems encountered during maintenance and modification of transport category aircraft. Develop expertise and knowledge of aircraft structures and mechanical systems related to the airplanes worked. Assure compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs), European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), Airworthiness Directives (ADs), Alternate Means of Compliance (AMOC) and related regulatory requirements and processes.

Rotating on-call weekends.
1 year of experience (or 3 years with Bachelors degree) as an Engineer, Engineering Intern/Trainee or related.

Some experience with each of the following skills must have been gained in prior employment or education (including internships, projects, post-completion optional practical training programs or related):
- Composites fabrication & repair
- Aircraft maintenance & repair
- ANSYS Workbench
- PTC Creo or SolidWorks (Computer Aided Design)
- Static load analysis and fatigue analysis
- Project management
- Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs), European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), Airworthiness Directives (ADs), and Alternate Means of Compliance (AMOC)
- Aircraft technical documents (OEM drawings, Structure Repair Manuals (SRM), Service Bulletins (SB) etc.)
Masters OR Bachelors degree in Engineering (including Aerospace), or related field. Foreign equivalents accepted.
