Position Title: Barista

Job Description: We are looking for a skilled and friendly Barista to join our team in providing excellent service to our customers. We are a family cafe. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, such as coffee, tea, smoothies to our customers with the highest level of customer service. You will also assist with taking customer orders, handling transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including coffee, espresso, cappuccinos, teas, etc


• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly and professional manner


• Take customer orders accurately and prepare beverages to their specifications


• Operate coffee/espresso machines and other equipment in a safe and efficient manner


• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including stocking supplies and cleaning equipment


• Handle cash and credit transactions with accuracy and efficiency


• Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure the well-being of customers and employees


• Assist in opening and closing duties, including setup and cleanup of the coffee bar

Qualifications:

• Prior experience as a Barista or in a customer service role preferred


• Knowledge of different types of coffee and espresso drinks


• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively


• Kids friendly


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills


• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes and instructions


• Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays


• Must be reliable, punctual, and have a positive attitude
