Priority Group Services, a provider under the DDD program, is seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our team! In this role, you'll play a vital part in improving the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities by restoring movement, managing pain, and promoting overall well-being.

Here's what you'll do:

- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical conditions and develop personalized treatment plans tailored to their specific needs and developmental abilities.
- Implement a variety of therapeutic exercises and techniques focused on enhancing mobility, strength, coordination, and functional independence.
- Partner with patients and their families to educate them on exercises and techniques that can be continued at home, promoting self-care and maximizing progress.
- Continuously monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Collaborate seamlessly with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and support staff, to deliver holistic and patient-centered care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient evaluations, progress notes, and treatment results to track progress and ensure continuity of care.

The Ideal Candidate:

- Holds a valid NJ state license or certification as a Physical Therapist.
- Possesses a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
- Demonstrates prior experience working in a home or nursing facility setting, preferably with a focus on developmental disabilities.
- Exhibits excellent interpersonal and communication skills, fostering positive relationships with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Showcases a strong clinical skillset, including the ability to assess patient needs and develop evidence-based treatment plans.
- Familiarity with physical therapy approaches for individuals with developmental disabilities is highly valued (a plus!).
