POSITION AVAILABLE: Wireless Systems Engineer

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or a related field, plus 2 years of experience in the job offered or a related position.

DESCRIPTION: Design 5G wireless communication protocol algorithms. Define wireless system performance metrics and the associated evaluation techniques. Perform field and lab characterization of wireless systems performance. Support network engineering and operations team in management of commercial network operations. Develop algorithms to perform live data analysis on IoT and network data sets to derive higher order characteristics. Actively contribute to fundamental Non-Terrestrial Network research and 3GPP specification definition.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

• 2 years of experience with 3GPP-related protocols, such as GSM, 4G/LTE, or NB-IOT.
• Ability to script and program in either Bash, Python, Go, or Ruby, on a Unix/Linux platform, using GIT for source control.
• Understanding of RF system architecture, performance specification, and measurement.
• Familiarity with 3GPP LTE and 5G/NR standards.

RATE OF PAY: $236,000 to $246,000 per year
