Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the charge in drafting and reviewing Employee Disciplinary Actions (EDAs).
- Conduct comprehensive personnel-related investigations.
- Respond promptly to formal documentation requests.
- Conduct mediations to resolve conflicts and enhance employee morale.
- Support employee welfare and ensure compliance with tribal, federal, and state regulations.
- Foster strong employer-employee relationships.
- Boost motivation and morale through innovative initiatives.
- Provide impactful training on Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Oversee conflict resolution, disciplinary processes, and employee grievance procedures.
- Analyze trends and make strategic recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Conduct insightful exit interviews and compile data for quality improvements.
- Manage unemployment claims efficiently.
- Create detailed and confidential investigative reports.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 3-5 years of progressive HR experience, with a focus on employee relations.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate or Bachelors degree in HR or related field preferred. Professional Employment Mediation Training is a plus.
- Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, critical and analytical thinking, and proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.
- Ability to acquire and maintain a Key Gaming License issued through POIGRA.
