THE POSITION

Sr. Logistics Analyst, Hoosier Racing Tire Corp., Lakeville, IN:

Create and shape the Demand Management role for the Racing Segment at global scale including operation in Europe. Develop transparency and maintain a proper structure for the department. Oversee full forecast process from analyzing and influencing Demand Forecast, establishing rules of targeted inventories / coverage and suggest production for a rolling 12 FC. Ensure availability of products for the right customer at the right time. Provide a transparent operational picture of the demand management function with proper set of metrics and KPI's such as FC accuracy, size achievement, coverage, quality of inventory. Promote technology implementation, including SAP implementations in Sales and Distribution operation to improve the function management. Develop material and train people in all processes, procedures, KPI's and metrics regarding Demand Management.

Telecommuting permitted up to 40% per week.

Full time employment, Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, International Business or a related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience.

Of the required experience, must have 5 years of experience in all of the following:

• Working in a Supply Chain Management (SCM) department such as Demand Planning and Forecasting, Inventory Management, Process Excellence and Technology Integration;
• Developing, creating, managing and tracking KPI's including Forecasting Accuracy, Demand Plan Adherence, Fill Rate, Size Achievement, and Inventory;
• Using demand Planning SAP related tools for Demand Management including AP Advanced Planning and Optimization, SAP Analysis for Microsoft Office, or SAP Business Warehouse; and
• Using SAP systems for enterprise resource planning.

Must have 3 years of experience in all of the following:

• Demand Management or Demand Planning for international markets;
• Lean Six Sigma Knowledge; and
• Advanced data analytics and visualization.

Must have 2 years of experience in project management.

Must have 1 year of experience working in plant operations or scheduling departments within the tire manufacturing industry.

Telecommuting permitted up to 40% per week.
