We are seeking an experienced Large Loss Mitigation Project Manager to oversee complex restoration projects across both commercial and residential properties. This role is responsible for managing large-scale water, fire, mold, and storm damage mitigation projects from initial assessment through final completion, ensuring quality, safety, and profitability standards are met on every job.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Lead and coordinate large loss mitigation projects, including scoping, budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation for both commercial and residential clients

  • Conduct on-site assessments to evaluate damage scope and develop comprehensive mitigation and restoration plans

  • Manage project budgets, track costs, and ensure jobs remain within approved scope and pricing

  • Coordinate with insurance adjusters, property owners, subcontractors, and internal crews to keep projects on schedule

  • Supervise field technicians and subcontractors, ensuring adherence to industry standards (IICRC) and safety regulations

  • Prepare and review detailed scopes of work, estimates, and documentation using industry software (e.g., Xactimate)

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle, providing regular updates and resolving concerns

  • Ensure timely and accurate job documentation, including photos, moisture logs, and daily progress reports

  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and maintain high customer satisfaction on large-scale losses


Qualifications:



  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience managing large loss restoration/mitigation projects (commercial and residential)

  • IICRC certifications required (WRT, ASD, FSRT preferred; CR a plus)

  • Strong knowledge of water, fire, mold, and storm damage mitigation processes

  • Experience with Xactimate or similar estimating software

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills

  • Ability to manage multiple large-scale projects simultaneously

  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites as needed

  • Experience working directly with insurance carriers and adjusters preferred
