We are seeking a resourceful and results-driven Craft Talent Sourcer to support high-volume recruiting efforts within the utility construction and skilled trades industries.

This is a remote contractor opportunity ideal for an experienced sourcer who knows how to find field talent and understands that successful craft recruiting requires more than posting jobs and waiting for applications.

You will build candidate pipelines for positions including:

  • CDL Class A & B Drivers
  • Heavy Equipment Operators
  • Hydrovac Operators
  • Directional Drill Operators
  • Pipeline & Construction Laborers
  • Gas Utility Workers
  • Fitters/Fusers
  • Foremen & Crew Leaders
  • Other skilled craft and utility construction professionals

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively source skilled craft candidates throughout the United States.
  • Utilize job boards, social media, resume databases, referrals, Boolean searches, and grassroots sourcing strategies.
  • Conduct outbound candidate outreach through phone, text, email, and other approved channels.
  • Identify and initially qualify candidates based on experience, location, availability, travel requirements, CDL status, and position-specific qualifications.
  • Build and maintain active pipelines for high-volume and difficult-to-fill positions.
  • Maintain accurate candidate records and sourcing activity within the ATS.
  • Partner with Recruiters to deliver a consistent pipeline of qualified candidates.
  • Meet established sourcing activity and qualified candidate submission goals.

Minimum Requirements:

  • 13 years of recruiting or talent sourcing experience.
  • Previous experience sourcing skilled trades, CDL drivers, equipment operators, construction laborers, or utility construction talent strongly preferred.
  • Experience supporting high-volume recruiting environments.
  • Strong internet research, Boolean search, and candidate identification skills.
  • Experience with ATS platforms, job boards, social media, and resume databases.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Comfortable conducting significant outbound candidate outreach.
  • Organized, responsive, self-directed, and results-oriented.
  • Ability to support U.S. recruiting operations and communicate effectively with a U.S.-based recruiting team.

This position is structured as a contractor engagement. The contractor is responsible for maintaining the equipment, internet connectivity, workspace, and other resources necessary to perform contracted services.

This opportunity does not include employee benefits, and the contractor is responsible for applicable taxes and other obligations associated with independent contractor status.

You understand craft recruiting. You know how to find the people who drive the trucks, operate the equipment, work the pipelines, lead the crews, and build America's infrastructure.

If you're persistent, creative, comfortable picking up the phone, and know how to turn sourcing activity into qualified candidates, we want to hear from you.
