Director of Partnerships & Strategic Capital

Commission-Based | Hybrid (CA Strongly Preferred) | High-Earning, High-Impact

Opportunity | Immediate Start

Capital strategy meets business transformation.

Are you a dynamic closer who thrives at the intersection of business, capital, and impact? Do you know how to move with founders and funders alike — activating HNWIs, investor relationships, corporate alliances, and philanthropic stakeholders who want in early on the next big thing? If so, this might be your seat at the table.

We’re a woman-led impact enterprise building bold ventures across executive leadership, real estate, global innovation, capital consulting, media, and wellness. We're now hiring a Director of Partnerships & Strategic Capital to lead the development of high-value funding relationships and investor-aligned partnerships that fuel our biggest strategic moves.

This is a senior, commission-based leadership role with unlimited earning potential and direct collaboration with the CEO and our Strategic Capital division leads. You’ll help design and lead multi-entity capital strategies that position JPG Enterprises for long-view success across its for-profit and mission-aligned ventures.

🔑 Key Responsibilities

Strategic Capital Development: Build and manage relationships with funders, investors, strategic collaborators, and financial partners across industries.

Partnership & Sponsorship Strategy: Secure corporate sponsorships, strategic alliances, and growth-based partnerships that align with JPGE’s business and innovation goals.

Investor Relationship Management: Cultivate and steward private capital relationships — from individual investors to family offices and institutional capital players.

Deal Structuring & Contribution Pathways: Work cross-functionally to design capital campaigns and investment or contribution opportunities that align with both growth strategy and compliance.

Diversify & Expand Capital Portfolio: Identify and facilitate access to alternative funding sources — including SBA loans, venture debt, for-profit grants, supply chain financing, licensing structures, internal capital efficiency models, and revenue-based financing — to support aligned ventures within the JPGE ecosystem.

Cross-Entity Collaboration: Coordinate with the nonprofit capital team to align messaging and navigate dual-funding opportunities (where appropriate).

Thought Leadership & Positioning: Represent JPGE externally with confidence and clarity — telling the story of our ecosystem, vision, and capital roadmap.

Strategic Oversight and Mentorship: Provide strategic oversight and mentorship to internal capital support staff, ensuring efficient alignment and execution across departments.

🎓 Qualifications

5–7+ years experience in capital strategy, partnerships, fundraising, or investment-related business development.

Demonstrated success leading high-level capital initiatives or investor/partner portfolios.

Experience providing strategic oversight or supervision to small teams.

Ability to guide cross-functional execution while remaining externally focused on partnerships and capital development.

Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MBA, MPA, or related) is a bonus.

Strong strategic communication, writing, and dealmaking skills.

🧠 Ideal Candidate

Proven success securing and managing six- to seven-figure capital relationships (including private equity, major gifts, and/or venture or philanthropic funding).

Strong networks across business, investor, and/or philanthropic sectors — with the ability to open doors and close deals.

Deep understanding of capital formation, business development, and investor communications.

Sharp storyteller with executive presence and the ability to pitch across boardrooms, ballrooms, and Zoom rooms.

Comfortable balancing revenue-driving execution with long-term strategic growth.

🔥 Bonus Points if You...

Have experience managing or supporting capital strategy for multi-entity ventures (i.e. for-profit + nonprofit).

Bring a portfolio of warm relationships in the capital, VC, or philanthropic investment space.

Have worked with early-stage startups, family offices, social ventures, or executive leadership initiatives.

🧑‍🤝‍🧑 Team Collaboration & Oversight

While this role is primarily focused on external relationship nurturing & development and capital strategy, the Director will provide high-level guidance and direction to a small internal capital support team. This includes direct oversight of a for-profit focused Grants Manager and cross-functional collaboration with communications, finance, and internal nonprofit counterparts.

This structure allows the Director to remain externally focused while ensuring alignment, coordination, and execution of partnership-related deliverables.

Typical commission rates range from 5% to 20%, based on capital type, complexity, and source — including:
