We are seeking an experienced INDEX CNC Machinist with strong CNC setup and machining experience to join a precision manufacturing operation. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with INDEX CNC turning machines, preferably INDEX C100 and/or C200 machines, and be comfortable performing setups, tooling changes, offsets, inspections, and troubleshooting.

This position requires someone who can work independently, maintain tight tolerances, and consistently produce high-quality precision components.

• Set up and operate INDEX CNC machines, including INDEX C100 and C200 equipment.

• Perform complete machine setups according to blueprints, work instructions, and production requirements.

• Install and change cutting tools, inserts, collets, fixtures, and other tooling.

• Set and adjust tool offsets and work offsets as required.

• Make minor CNC program edits and adjustments at the machine when necessary.

• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and manufacturing specifications(link removed)>

• Work with tight tolerances and precision-machined components.

• Perform first-piece and in-process inspections.

• Use precision measuring equipment including micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and other inspection tools(link removed)>

• Monitor machine performance, tooling condition, cycle times, and part quality throughout production.

• Troubleshoot machining, tooling, dimensional, and setup-related issues.

• Replace worn or damaged tooling and make adjustments to maintain part specifications.

• Document production and inspection results according to company procedures.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

• Follow all company safety, quality, and manufacturing procedures.

• Previous experience as an INDEX CNC Machinist, CNC Setup Machinist, or CNC Turning Machinist(link removed)>

• Hands-on experience with INDEX CNC equipment strongly preferred(link removed)>

• Experience with INDEX C100 and/or INDEX C200 machines highly desirable(link removed)>

• Strong CNC machine setup experience required.

• Ability to perform tooling changes and offset adjustments independently.

• Ability to make minor CNC program edits at the machine.

• Strong blueprint-reading skills.

• Knowledge of machining tolerances, tooling, feeds, and speeds.

• Experience using precision measuring and inspection equipment.

• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Experience in a precision manufacturing, aerospace, defense, connector, or similar high-tolerance machining environment is a plus.
