InPlay, Inc is a fabless semiconductor company that develops low-power, low-latency wireless communication technologies for applications like IoT, healthcare, and VR/AR. InPlay, Inc is seeking a Data Analyst to transform complex data sets into actionable business insights, collecting, processing, and analyzing data to aid in decision-making processes that drive the business forward.

Job responsibilities and duties include:
• Work closely with management to prioritize business and information needs, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic goals.
• Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
• Work closely with various departments to understand their data needs and deliver clear, concise, and accurate analysis.
• Collect and process large datasets to extract meaningful insights, including those related to product performance and market trends.
• Perform statistical analysis and data visualization to support decision-making across various business areas, including product development.
• Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics, and other strategies that optimize efficiency and quality.
• Interpret data and analyze results using statistical techniques to enhance operational efficiencies.

This position does not supervise other personnel.

Minimum requirements:
Master's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science, Analytics or any related field of study and six (6) months of experience in the job offered or in any related position(s) in which the required experience was gained.

Qualified applicants must also have demonstrable proficiency, skill, experience, and knowledge with the following:
1. Experience applying knowledge of complex statistical analysis principles.
2. Experience developing data analytics information systems.
3. Developing complex data structures and algorithms, and applying them to business problems.
4. Utilizing machine learning techniques.
5. Utilizing simulation and systems modeling.
6. QuickBooks, Python, R-studio, Tableau, Replit, and Claude.
