Program Coordinator Americorps Regional Supervision Location: US-CA-El Cerrito Email Job

We are looking for a natural leader thats passionate about the environment, fighting climate change, thrives in opportunities where youre mentoring, building relationships, and finding solutions, and supports a program that provides emerging sustainability professionals with job opportunities, nonprofits, and local governments with sustainable solutions, and the environment. You will have the opportunity to engage with many stakeholders, up to 100+ partner organizations, and 300+ Fellows. This position includes both acting as a Regional Supervisor for CCAC Fellows during their terms, as well as supporting CCAC staff in the implementation of the program.
Benefits - Annual Pay: $76,000-$85,300 based on experience
- Starting at 3 weeks vacation and additional sick leave
- 16 BACR holidays

Minimum Qualifications - Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of experience working directly in areas such as:
- Sustainability program planning/implementation
- Business and communication
- Environmental science/education
Must be based in California, Bay Area preferredExperience with database management, ability to update tracking systems Experience and literacy with Google Suite, Excel, and SalesforceWorkplace and Professional Skills, such as time management, managing multiple projects at the same time, and great organization skillsStrong experience and skills in relationship building and communicationStrong experience and ability in mentoring and coaching othersGeneral understanding of conflict resolutionExperience with community outreach, engagement, and recruitmentEnthusiasm and commitment to climate change mitigation Understanding of climate-related topics such as: - Climate volunteer management
- Organic waste recovery and food rescue
- California environmental policies
- Environmental and racial justice
- Environmental/Climate Education and communication
Responsibilities - Support overall CCAC program implementation
- Act as Regional Supervisor for members; visit placement sites and members on a monthly basis
- Support the personal and professional development of each AmeriCorps Member
- Support partner placement site relationships and recruitment
- Help recruit, select, and place AmeriCorps members at placements sites
- Oversee and approve AmeriCorps timesheets, track AmeriCorps hours throughout the year
- Support collection and review of hiring and compliance documents for members
- Help facilitate and plan member development training days, community building, and celebrations
- Support members with their transitions after the fellowship and advise their professional development
- Collect all member evaluation and metrics reporting documentation
