Our team in Space & Defense is looking for an Electrical Engineer to join them. You will report to the Electrical Engineering Manager and will have an onsite work schedule in Blacksburg, VA.
To be considered for Electrical Engineer, here's what you'll need to bring with you:
A Bachelor's degree in electrical or computer engineering or related field
Familiar with design and layout printed circuit boards including component selection and schematic design
1+ years of experience testing electronics hardware
As an Electrical Engineer, you will:
You will plan and implement the development and test of electronics (that may contain embedded firmware) that will be used in new solutions and within the cost and schedule constraints established for the project.
Because of the rapid advances in technology, this position must stay up to date with new developments to take advantage of devices, which provide greater accuracy, reduce cost and improve reliability.
Creativity are important attributes to this position. You will need to incorporate changes into your design with minimum impact on schedule and cost if the hardware requirements are modified or a change of scope is initiated.
Specify requirements, establish system accuracy and develop the detail design and experimental testing of products assigned to your responsibility.
Communicate fluently to audiences representing different skills, background, and disciplines
Work with customers to understand and define system constraints and subsequently contributing to winning proposal.
