Staff Accountant Consultant responsibilities for clients include:

• Process accounting transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger entries
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data by performing reconciliations and reviewing financial records
• Assist with month-end and year-end close procedures
• Prepare and analyze financial reports to ensure compliance with accounting standards
• Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures
• Conduct research and analysis on accounting and financial issues
• Provide support to clients in resolving accounting and financial inquiries
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve accounting processes and systems

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a consulting or professional services environment
• Knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
