They are recruiting for the role of A&P Mechanic in Chicago, IL, and Billings, MT. This full-time position offers a competitive salary of $24/hr, comprehensive benefits including dental, medical, 401k, PTO, and monthly sick pay.

Role Responsibilities:

• Adhere to manufacturers specifications, company policies, and FAA regulations
• Perform inspections, repairs, and preventative maintenance on aircraft
• Contribute to shift turnover reports and meetings
• Provide on-the-job training as directed by the Base-Manager/Supervisor
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Handle materials as per company manuals and equipment manufacturers guidelines
• Perform aircraft run-ups and taxis, road trips for aircraft repair, and aircraft cleaning

Requirements

• Current A&P certificate required
• Minimum two years professional aircraft maintenance work experience preferred
• Good mechanical skills and ownership of a basic set of aircraft maintenance tools
• Strong teamwork and individual work skills
• Ability to readily accept instruction and guidance
• Physical capability to lift 40 lbs, and perform tasks such as bending, stooping, kneeling and working overhead
• Valid US drivers license, high school diploma or equivalent, and flexibility to work any shift including nights, weekends and holidays
