Compensation and Benefits

The Role

As an A&P Mechanic, you will maintain, modify, and service engine parts under general supervision, ensuring compliance with manufacturer's specifications and FARS.


Key Duties
  • Conduct routine maintenance and inspections following ACCs, OEM, and current manufacturers' guidelines.
  • Use aircraft engine maintenance manuals to identify repair methods for malfunctioning or damaged parts.
  • Implement modifications to aircraft engine systems or components as per engineering orders and technical publications.
  • Assemble and install components and accessories using hand and power tools.
  • Provide emergency repairs to reduce aircraft downtime.
  • Schedule maintenance checks and overhauls by reviewing maintenance records and flight logs.
  • Maintain documentation related to performed processes.
  • Adhere to cleanliness, safety, and sanitation regulations.

Requirements

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent (Technical college/training preferred)
  • Certifications: FAA Airframe and Powerplant
  • Experience: Minimum 3-5 years experience (6 years or more preferred)
  • Skills: Ability to interpret diagrams, specifications, and schematics of aircraft engine parts/components; proficient in problem-solving and decision-making; effective communication skills; ability to work well in a team environment and execute sound judgment in aircraft maintenance and safety.
