Compensation and Perquisites
  • Salary: Ranges between $25 and $30 per hour
  • Position Type: Full-time, permanent role

Role Description

The chosen candidate will be responsible for maintaining, adjusting, and repairing engine components as per manufacturers guidelines and FARS, under general supervision.


Core Responsibilities
  • Execute routine maintenance and inspections as per ACC's, OEM, and current manufacturer's protocols.
  • Use aircraft engine maintenance manuals and specifications to devise repair methods for malfunctioning or damaged components.
  • Modify aircraft engine systems in compliance with engineering orders and technical publications.
  • Use hand and power tools to assemble and install various components and accessories.
  • Provide emergency repairs to minimize aircraft downtime when required.
  • Schedule maintenance checks and overhauls by reviewing maintenance records and flight logs.
  • Document all executed processes completely and accurately.
  • Uphold all cleanliness, safety, and sanitation regulations.

Requirements

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent (Technical college/training preferred)
  • Certifications: FAA Airframe and Powerplant
  • Experience: Minimum 3-5 years experience (6 years or more preferred)
  • Skills: Ability to interpret diagrams, specifications, and schematics of aircraft engine parts/components; proficient in problem-solving and decision-making; effective communication skills; ability to work well in a team environment and execute sound judgment in aircraft maintenance and safety.
