AVP - Marketing Manager, Singapore



What can you expect?

The Marketing Manager, Singapore, supports the development and implementation of brand, social media, events, and digital transformation to drive Mercers business growth in Singapore. The Singapore Mercer business is an approximate USD$50m (annual) revenue market across the health, wealth, and careers lines of businesses.
To achieve this, the Marketing Manager will work closely with the Marsh McLennan Marketing Leader Singapore, and the Mercer Marketing Leader, Asia, to plan, execute and measure the impact of strategic integrated marketing plans that drive demand generation and revenue growth. You will own marketing campaigns in Singapore and ensure they are executed seamlessly and tracked to drive performance.
Critical to the role is an ability to effectively manage stakeholders to ensure marketing and brand strategies are supported by the business and deliver commercial outcomes. The ideal candidate will be collaborative, passionate, high energy, organized and detail oriented. More importantly, the ideal candidate is eager to learn, and ready to roll up their sleeves to put plans into execution.


We will count on you to:


Go-To-Market Strategy Planning

Design and execute the Go-To-Market (GTM) strategies to drive demand generation.
Work with business leaders to design marketing strategies that will work best for Singapore and its lines of businesses.
Leverage and distribute global and regional marketing campaigns, including materials that have relevance to Singapore.
Source, adapt and create appropriate content to support the content strategy/ roadmap, focusing primarily on Mercer branded websites and social channels.


Owned Channels Strategy

Develop and deliver the website strategy to drive demand generation. Manage and maintain (link removed).sg as well as its e-commerce platform.
Manage the CMS (Adobe AEM, Shopify) to ensure that the website is kept up to date and driving leads and direct sales to its e-commerce platform.
Work with colleagues to set the strategic direction for the website, ensuring that they reflect the Mercer brand and is being used to maximum affect in supporting business and marketing priorities.
Develop and manage Mercers SEO and SEM strategy.
Use copy writing and design skills to ensure that the websites provide a user experience that reflects Mercers brand and customer value propositions.
Keep up to date with the latest trends in online content and campaigning.
Work with Singapore business leaders to create digital content that will support them in achieving campaign targets for engagement and qualified leads.
Leverage emailers to drive demand generation. Manage and maintain Singapore database and communications that are sent to this database.
Work with campaign execution team to design and develop email communications on a regular basis to Singapore database.
Ensure privacy laws are adhered to in Singapore.
Run and execute events to drive top of mind recall in Singapore.
Work with business leaders to design and execute events in Singapore to drive exceptional brand experience for Mercer.


Paid Advertising Management

Ensure Go-To-Market strategies are accompanied by robust paid advertising strategies including but not limited to LinkedIn, Google, YouTube.
Ensure cost efficiency and effectiveness in ad campaigns.


Communications

Working closely with communications team, plan and execute proactive communications plan for key initiatives for Mercer Singapore
Provide counsel and work closely with communications team on reactive media requests.


Monitoring and Improving

Monitor the performance of the website as a marketing and sales channel.
Ensure you develop insights, and that the website is continuously improved.
Participate as the Singapore representative in global web operations group. Contribute to coordinated global site initiatives, partake in testing, and attend global calls as required.


What you need to have:

Digital & mobile first mind-set individual with minimally 5 years experience in a marketing role.
Strong communicator and able to convey complex ideas in a clear, concise manner verbally and in writing and must be comfortable with business and technical discussions.
Strong tenacity, flexible & resourceful to clear roadblocks, solving problems and maturity to manage stakeholders & external agencies and partners through effective relationships building, collaboration and influencing skills.
Ability to think, plan and execute through self-motivation and independence navigating in a fluid and ambiguous situations and comfortable working on multiple projects simultaneously in an organized way.
Experience with events management.
Experience with communications and PR
Experience with digital marketing channels and platforms including SEM, SEO, ad buys.
Keen sense of curiosity and passionate about all things marketing.
