We are a fast-growing IT company based in NYC, seeking a highly motivated and experienced accountant/controller to join our team. As the accountant/controller, you will be responsible for managing all accounting and financial reporting activities for the company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports
• Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations
• Manage the budgeting process and prepare regular forecasts of financial performance
• Conduct financial analysis and provide recommendations to management on cost-saving measures
• Provide financial support and guidance to other departments within the company

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 5+ years of experience in accounting and financial reporting, with at least 2 years in a managerial role
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles and regulations
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Quickbooks and Microsoft Excel
