WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

You will have an exciting opportunity to join a growing accounting team at a world class management consulting firm. The successful candidate performs standard accounting functions such as general ledger maintenance, reconciliation, and posting. They gather financial and operating data and assist in preparing reconciliations, management reports and financial statements.Additionally, the candidate will be equally responsible for assisting in various projects that relate to data flow from our various systems and how they communicate with our ERP. Candidate will work with local payroll teams as well as other key stakeholders in making adjustments to how information flows through various systems and is ultimately posted to the ledger so as to ensure best in class financials.





WHAT YOULL DO


You will reconcile various accounts including VP bonus, deferred VP compensation, cumulative deferred compensation, and related.

You will review assigned balance sheet and related income statement accounts for accuracy.

You will propose monthly journal entries for US and Worldwide offices within SAP

You will review and propose changes for our Workday and ADP Workforce systems as these relate to compensation elements.

You will work with various business units outside of finance on projects with various downstream reporting implications while ensuring proper accounting is taken place.

You will be organizing PowerPoints and Visio work process flow diagrams for projects while keeping key stakeholders in consideration.

You will perform ad hoc special projects and process flow improvement initiatives.

You will support the month-end financial close process, including the preparation monthly reporting packages and presentation to senior leadership.

You will prepare detailed audit schedules for interim and year-end reviews by independent auditors.

You will draft documentation of procedures and recommendations for process improvements.






ABOUT YOU

A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field, (with a concentration in Accounting).




Knowledge of standard accounting principles, methods, and applications.

Ability to effectively communicate accounting information, policies, and/or procedures in a manner easily understood.

Ability to set up and maintain financial accounts and ledgers.

Excellent written communication skills (in PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Visio).

Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements and/or projections.

Ability to understand concepts and data flows while offering opinions and ideas for improvement.

Ability to learn financial systems and reporting tools (e.g., SAP, Workday, ADP).

Flexible and adaptable to change.

Capable of working multiple projects independently and as a team.

An ethical individual that acts with high levels of integrity at all times.




Also, interpersonal and collaborative skills, ability to communicate and interact effectively with personnel at all levels throughout the organization. And an ability to take a leadership role to work collaboratively in a team environment through continued training and process enhancements is highly desired.
