Role & Responsibilities Overview:

The successful candidate will work closely with management and entire team, supporting the day-to-day company accounting activities. In addition, the successful candidate will be a professional with a long-term career horizon, looking for stability and growth in a growing company.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required. Additional education is a plus.
  
  
  
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience required, including proven office experience.
  
  
  
  


• Strong knowledge of:
  
  
  
  • Accounting principles, financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, investment and real estate accounting, and business intelligence skills.
  
  
  
  


• Open to working on non-accounting projects, such as corporate records, insurance, and other tasks as necessary.


• Willingness to share own knowledge & cross-train as necessary is an important quality for a successful candidate.


• Strong working knowledge of accounting software (Sage and/or Microsoft Dynamics is a huge plus).


• Ability to work effectively in a team and interact with internal & external clientele/vendors/etc.


• Effective communication, interpersonal and organizational skills required.


• Ability to recognize and implement process improvement where needed.


• Ability to function independently with minimal supervision.


• Ability to prioritize and multi-task.


• Excellent Excel skills.


• Detail-oriented.
