Input financial data into accounting software or spreadsheets, including invoices, receipts, purchase orders, and other financial documents. Process and verify invoices for payment, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies. Monitor and track customer payments, send invoices, and follow up on overdue accounts. Regularly reconcile bank statements with the company's financial records to identify discrepancies and ensure accuracy. Record and categorize expenses incurred by the organization, making sure they are appropriately allocated to the correct accounts or cost centers. Generate financial reports, such as income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, on a regular basis for management or regulatory purposes. Assist in the development and maintenance of budgets by providing financial data and insights to help management make informed decisions. Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations. Calculate and process employee salaries, deductions, and taxes. Ensure compliance with payroll laws and regulations.
Requires a bachelor’s degree in accounting from a U.S or accredited foreign college.
