Responsibilities:

• Carefully comparing invoices received from vendors with corresponding purchase orders and receiving documents to ensure accuracy and resolve any discrepancies
• Grouping together similar types of invoices or payments for processing, allowing for efficient handling and timely payments
• Applying appropriate expense codes or account numbers to invoices and expense reports, ensuring accurate allocation and tracking of expenditures
• Entering relevant information from invoices, such as vendor details, invoice numbers, dates, and amounts, into the accounting system for proper recording and tracking
• Maintaining accurate and organized records of invoices, purchase orders, payment approvals, and other relevant documentation
• Ensuring that invoices are processed and payments are made within agreed-upon terms, avoiding late payment penalties and maintaining positive vendor relationships

Skills and Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience
• High School Diploma, degree not required
• Understanding of AP principles, procedures, and best practices, including invoice processing, payment processing, vendor management, and expense reporting
• Strong focus on accuracy and precision when reviewing invoices, reconciling accounts, and entering data into accounting systems
