Sears Home Services is a leading provider of appliance and refrigeration repair services in the consumer services industry. We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Appliance and Refrigeration Repair Service Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional repair and maintenance services for a wide range of appliances and refrigeration systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnosis, repair, and maintenance on various appliances, including but not limited to refrigerators, dishwashers, ovens, washers, and dryers.
• Troubleshoot and identify the root cause of appliance and refrigeration malfunctions.
• Replace and repair defective parts using appropriate tools and equipment.
• Ensure all repairs are completed accurately and efficiently, meeting quality standards and customer satisfaction.
• Educate customers on proper appliance usage and maintenance to minimize future issues.
• Maintain accurate records of all service calls, including parts and labor used.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while working on customer premises.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience as an appliance repair technician, with a focus on refrigeration systems.
• Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Strong knowledge of appliance repair and maintenance techniques.
• Familiarity with various brands and models of appliances.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
