Have experience or a background in fine art? Join us as an Art focused Service Coordinator at our Saint Paul location!

As a Service Coordinator, you'll work with a close-knit team to design and implement fun, meaningful, and rewarding programs for the people with disabilities that we serve in Saint Paul. The Art Focused Service Coordinator will work with a variety of people in our programs, including individuals who are pursuing art as employment.

WHAT THIS JOB IS LIKE:

• Reliable weekday hours. MSS centers are open Monday - Friday from 7:30am - 4:00pm. No evenings or weekends required!
• Meaningful work that matters. As a Service Coordinator, you will work as part of a team to make sure the programs we offer at MSS meet every client's unique needs.
  • Case Management. You'll get to know each client, their family, and their team personally. That's how you'll develop an individualized program plan that suits each person we serve.
  • Programs and Activities. All our clients rely on your creativity and enthusiasm to lead them in fun and rewarding activities every day. You may help people learn job skills, plant a garden, make art, or visiting interesting places. Your individuality helps you connect with the uniqueness of each person.
  • Personal Care. You help some people with day-to-day activities like eating, taking medicine, and going to the bathroom. Your respectful caring and compassion are crucial skills.
• Safety, community, and respect. MSS centers are safe, respectful, and friendly communities both for the people we serve and for every employee. We value you, your talents, and your ideas.

Requirements

WHY YOU'RE QUALIFIED:

• You're caring. You're patient and encouraging around people who have different needs. You believe that everyone deserves to have the life they choose, no matter what challenges they're facing.
• You're experienced. You meet Minnesota's requirements as a Designated Coordinator under 245D. You understand the complexities of disability services and you're passionate about serving your clients well.
• You're safe. You're dependable, clear-headed, and serious about keeping people safe. You have a valid Minnesota driver's license and a good recent driving record. You are able to obtain a DOT medical card and you don't mind going through a background check.
