Job Description:

We are seeking an Assembler Associate II to join our team in Alameda, CA. In this role, you will utilize your knowledge of basic math and drawings to construct multiple assemblies and sub-assemblies for a designated area. The position involves working with automated equipment, basic computer hardware and software, testers, fixtures, and self-inspection methods. Soldering skills may be required for specific tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Construct multiple assemblies and sub-assemblies using basic math skills and interpreting drawings.
• Utilize automated equipment, basic computer hardware and software, testers, fixtures, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Apply soldering skills as necessary for the functional area.
• Extract and utilize information from various sources outside the work group.
• Participate in manufacturing/Site Focus Teams, such as Safety, GMP, or ESD.
• Demonstrate leadership through positive and effective interpersonal skills.
• Train peers and cross-train in various tasks.
• Influence work groups and persuade peers when necessary.
• Operate within and maintain the effectiveness of Quality Systems.
• Meet departmental goals for Quality and work standards.
• Adhere to the Abbott Code of Conduct.
