An Assembler B assembles rupture disc units of the highest quality and prepares them for shipping in a safe and cost-effective manner to ensure the best delivery in accordance with all company policies and manufacturing procedures.

What you'll be doing:

  • Trim Teflon
  • Clean rupture disc and holder parts
  • Cut outside diameters of rupture discs
  • Spot weld tags
  • Assemble units and prepare them for shipping
  • Perform other duties as assigned, based on workload and business need

Requirements

What you bring to the table:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1-3 months work experience in a production environment. Previous experience in a production position at CDC is preferred.
  • Ability to read blueprints
  • Basic math and reading skills
  • Working knowledge of industrial equipment used to produce rupture discs
  • Ability to wear required personal protective equipment, including safety glasses and safety shoes
  • Regularly required to sit or stand, bend and reach
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed
  • Willingness and ability to follow all manufacturing procedures and company policies
  • Attention to detail
  • Concern for quality, accuracy and safety
  • Ability to stay on task and manage time efficiently to meet deadlines
  • Ability to work well with others, including subordinates, peers, executive management and outside vendors, representatives and visitors
