Assembler B nd shift Location: US-MO-Liberty Email this job to a friend

An Assembler B assembles rupture disc units of the highest quality and prepares them for shipping in a safe and cost-effective manner to ensure the best delivery in accordance with all company policies and manufacturing procedures.
What you'll be doing: - Trim Teflon
- Clean rupture disc and holder parts
- Cut outside diameters of rupture discs
- Spot weld tags
- Assemble units and prepare them for shipping
- Perform other duties as assigned, based on workload and business need
Perform other duties as assigned based on work load and business need Requirements What you bring to the table: - High school diploma or GED
- 1-3 months work experience in a production environment. Previous experience in a production position at CDC is preferred.
- Ability to read blueprints
- Basic math and reading skills
- Working knowledge of industrial equipment used to produce rupture discs
- Ability to wear required personal protective equipment, including safety glasses and safety shoes
- Regularly required to sit or stand, bend and reach
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed
- Willingness and ability to follow all manufacturing procedures and company policies
- Attention to detail
- Concern for quality, accuracy and safety
- Ability to stay on task and manage time efficiently to meet deadlines
- Ability to work well with others, including subordinates, peers, executive management and outside vendors, representatives and visitors
