· Performs a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies such as modules, boards, panels, drawers, frames, and cables.

· Works from diagrams and drawings, makes initial layouts, and uses hand and/or power tools, jigs, and saws. Makes continuity checks on work in process and completed.

· May conduct quality inspections on processing line in accordance with quality specifications.

· May disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test experimental or prototype assemblies and subassemblies according to specifications and under simulated conditions. This is a 2nd Shift position.

 

URGENT NEED for inspectors

-Candidate has a strong background in the manufacturing process of cables and subassemblies.

-Has the willingness and ability to perform assembly tasks related to assigned inspection areas as needed.

-Experience with soldered and crimp inspection on cables using IPC-A-620 standards.

-Detail-oriented and proficient at interpreting drawings, diagrams, parts lists, IPC manuals, revision control, reference documents and work instructions.

-A team player with strong verbal and written communication skills. Interfaces effectively and diplomatically with assemblers, test technicians, engineers, customers and management when resolving quality issues.

-Proficient with Personal Computers.
