GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
Carl Albert State College has an opening for a full-time Assessment Specialist, to provide Statewide coverage. This position will start on February 1, 2024. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing services for Oklahoma Human Services TANF clients as outlined within the State Assessment Services contract in the following areas:
Assessment:
- Administration of CASAS, COPSystem, SASSI, and Oral Swab assessments
- Perform Washington Learning Needs Screening Tool and Vera Vision Screening
- Interpret assessment outcomes in joint case staffing
- Upload results upon completion
All service areas require accurate record keeping, reporting requirements, maintenance of client files, and proper travel reporting per CASC and state regulations.
QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelors Degree or a minimum of 5 years experience working with the TANF or any other underserved adult population; Computer Skills; must have dependable transportation and ability to travel up to 750 miles per week and have out of town over-night stays; must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. on a daily basis. Maintain valid Drivers License and Insurance on vehicle.
SALARY:
$ 45,000-annually, includes a full benefit package, which includes Employer paid Medical, Dental, Life, Long-term Disability, Oklahoma Teachers Retirement, Vacation & Sick Days. In addition to salary, you will also receive a per diem for mileage and hotel stays.
