Assist in the direction of all aspects of the universitys athletic training program. Coordinate the prevention, management and rehabilitation of athletic injuries sustained by student-athletes in all 15 varsity sport programs, serving as the primary athletic trainer for selected sports. Prevent and provide acute treatment and rehabilitation for athletic injuries in student-athletes. Serve as the primary athletic trainer for assigned sports, including travel with teams; student-athlete education; and assisting with inventory, budget, purchasing, and other athletic training administrative functions. Educate and supervise athletic training of students, including competency sign-offs. Collaborate with the Athletic Training Education Program administrative staff to assist with programs designed to educate and train future athletic trainers. Must hold valid Colorado Athletic Trainer License and valid CPR and AED certification. Utilize First Aid, CPR, and AED; therapeutic modality; PRI; rehabilitation intervention; manual therapy (massage, stretching, and PNF technique, facial distortion model); taping technique; blood flow restriction technique; Graston M1 technique; dry needling technique; and other skills, techniques, and standards in carrying out assigned duties.

30% of domestic travel to away games is required.
The experience and education requirements are:
One year (12 months) of experience in athletic training at the collegiate or junior/community college level.

Position also requires working knowledge (6 months work experience or one post-secondary course using) of taping technique; Graston M1 technique; and dry needling technique.

Must hold a valid Colorado Athletic Trainer License and valid CPR and AED certification.
Master of Athletic Training or a closely related field
