Canvas is looking for our next talented Assistant Branch Manager for our new Castle Rock Branch at The Meadows!



The Assistant Branch Manager position is truly at the heart of what we do - serving our membership. You could say that it's the most important position here at Canvas. Well, one of them, that's certain.





Pay is commensurate with experience. This position is bonus eligible, based upon company performance.



As an Assistant Branch Manager, you will assist the Branch Manager in guiding branch office staff by providing quality service to members through the sales and service of products, with the expectation of meeting and exceeding branch and individual goals.

 



Responsibilities:



- Ensure members receive high quality service by all employees at all touch points in the branch.

- Review all branch productivity reports, conducts ongoing analyses of branch activities, workflow and operations, utilizing strategies devised for meeting goals and objectives.

- When working with members performing transactions, opening new accounts, taking loan applications, and considering additional services the Assistant Branch Manager consistently meets or exceeds credit union goals.

- Takes appropriate action to resolve member issues promptly and coaches staff to do the same.

- Works with Branch Manager to evaluate, develop, motivate and train branch personnel, and coaches staff in sales and service activities. Ensures branch staff has strong product and process knowledge.

- Works with Branch Manager to achieve sales and growth goals, conducting weekly staff meetings, performing periodic sales audits, and coaching and developing staff. Develops partnerships with other business groups/partners that work with the branch.

- Responsible for the oversight of all branch operations and operational efficiency.



- Deepens member relationships by cross-selling products and services through advanced understanding of all financial products and services. Provides staff members with a positive and professional member service and sales-oriented role model.

- Maintains thorough knowledge of lending processes, security and fraud procedures, and the functions of all automated equipment. Serves as a branch-wide source of knowledge on credit union operating procedures in order to provide necessary support to branch staff.

- Along with the Branch Manager, works with Human Resources on recruiting, hiring, training and performance issues, etc.

- Acts as backup and provides support to branch manager.

- Performs other job related duties as assigned.



This position requires an individual with one to three years of similar or related experience in a financial institution.

 



The successful candidate will demonstrate maturity, dependability, professionalism, problem-solving skills, customer service results and the ability to work a flexible schedule Monday through Saturday. Additional requirements are proven success in a high volume, fast-paced dynamic environment and MS Office proficiency. A demonstrated track record of success in the sales and customer service arenas is required.

 



A two-year college degree or completion of a specialized course of study at a business or trade school or equivalent work experience.
