ASSISTANT BUSINESS ANALYST, ANALYTICS

The MMB Analytics team are key to driving forward the analytics proposition internally within MMB and to Clients, operating as experts within the business in order to help the organisation provide a competitive advantage through analytics.
Having grown in size and remit in recent years, the team are looking to continue this trend going forward and hence will be looking to you to embrace this challenge.
Acting as an Assistant Business Analyst for the MMB Analytics team, you will be expected to assist the team in product and technical documentation, setting up and joining workshops or meetings and documenting actions or notes. We expect you to make sure that best practices and high documentation standards are maintained throughout the product development lifecycle, working closely with the Product and Technology teams to ensure that products are successfully delivered, enabling the build of products at a global, regional and country perspective that contribute to achieving the teams objectives.

We will count on you to:

Assist the Senior Project Manager and Product Owners in creating project plans and status reports.
Assist with the daily management of operational functions within the MMB Analytics team, including preparations and actions for standing meetings.
Assist with the documentation and evaluation of business and technical processes, enabling the development of solutions alongside the MMB Analytics team.
Convert high-level product features or requirements into user stories, providing the development team with the required information.
Gather critical information from meetings and across the team, to produce useful feedback and help mature the product backlog.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation throughout a product(s) development lifecycle.
Manage, update or collate materials and required information for team meetings.
Participate in product design walk-throughs, functional test plans and implementation sessions.
Work alongside the Business Analysts to define, document and deliver solutions.
Work with Product and Development team(s) on sprint planning meeting and backlog refinement.
Work with the Senior Project Manager, Product Owner(s) and Technical Lead(s) to create and monitor product requirements.
Work with the Enablement and Product team(s) to create user documentation, training material and user guides.


What you need to have:

An awareness of SaaS product delivery and a strategic mind-set.
Strong communication skills, presenting information in a format appropriate to the audience.
The ability to clearly communicate compelling messages to management and the MMB Analytics team in concise and easy-to-understand formats.
A proactive and self-starter attitude, taking initiative and comfortably scoping, driving and executing on initiatives driven by the team.
An understanding and ability to follow what best practice documentation looks like.
Ability to maintain discretion and deal appropriately with confidential information.
Excellent organisational and leadership skills.
Energetic, cheerful, personable and willing to learn.
