About the Role:



   The Assistant Inventory Manager is a key role in aiding the efficiency of the delivery system. This role reports to the Inventory Manager and will oversee the inventory transfer process to ensure the flow of product is smooth, efficient, and accurate. This position leads the inventory cycle count process to maintain an accurate inventory level. They understand and perform the daily routines of the inventory team including having a profound knowledge of systems and tools used to manage the inventory process. They have the ability to organize and maintain tight deadlines.  A keen eye for quality, detail, and a good head for numbers are the starting point for what makes a good Assistant Inventory Manager.



Responsibilities:




  • Responsible for maintaining effectiveness when experiencing major changes with tasks and/or work environment.

  • Ensure communication is happening among all interested parties in regards to inventory movement and other items. 

  • Ensuring limited access to premise inventory

  • Monitor inventory thresholds and communicate these to Senior Management

  • Follow inventory protocols for inventory management (intake, organization, recording data, & distribution)

  • Respond to customer inquiries with a superior level of customer service. 

  • Prepare inventory distribution kits according to specifications

  • Assist with other duties as assigned



Requirements:




  • Prior experience in inventory control and/or supply chain management

  • Prior experience working in the cannabis industry and/or knowledge of metrc training preferred. 

  • Able to work days, nights, holidays and weekends

  • Self-starter and very organized

  • Basic computer operating skills; advanced MS Excel knowledge

  • Excellent communication skills, attention to detail

  • Minimum 21 years of age

  • This role requires frequent lifting and/or moving of items over 50 pounds



Compensation:



Hourly rate: $17 - $20 (Compensation commensurate with experience)



Full-Time (40 hours a week)
