Job Description

The Assistant Manager MIS will be placed at one of the hubs and will report directly to the Director MEAL and will be SPOC for MIS related developments and activities under the company's Programme umbrella (link removed) The Job responsibilities are as follows.

Job Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain broad knowledge of Project and technology requirements and needs.
Develop and implement MIS policies to ensure data accuracy and security.
Develop and implement standardized MIS procedures across all Project applications. Plan and manage software and hardware installations.
Perform periodic maintenance and servicing of MIS system to improve operational efficiency.

Monitor MIS performance regularly to avoid unplanned outages and down times. Provide support for OS issues, network problems and software installations, etc. Conduct training on MIS activities to increase staff expertise. Supervise and motivate MIS team to work collectively and efficiently. Coordinate with MIS team to ensure that technology, infrastructure and operational requirements are met
Tracks MIS activities and priorities, including the smooth implementation of the program Tracking Management Information System of all the data related to activities carried out by the organisation. Supports coordination with the programmes teams on MIS activities.
Data Collection, Compilation, Analysing, Inputting and Reporting and provide high quality data.
Collection and submission programme reports
Back checking reports/ data during field visit. Collect and accurately input data into MIS system. Provides administrative support for MIS tools supported by the project, including maintaining the inventory of tools, maintaining the documentation related with the assets and facilitating with vendors on procurement related processes.
Performs other duties and responsibilities as and required, communicated by the organisation.
Supportive supervision field visits to Triangulated and validate databases incoming data and plan enhancements to outreach and training strategies based on evaluation.
Maintain quality program databases for all key indicators.
Maintaining/updating salary register, stock and stock register, time sheet file, travel plan file, letter received/dispatch file, MPR files, review meeting register etc.
Plan and develop data quality and operational improvement projects for MIS, including coordination of quality control.

Key Skills: Key Skills:

Knowledge of Survey Solutions and Google studio is desired.
Good Data Analysis Skills

Mandatory:
Expertise in using Excel / SOSS/ R /Stata is desired
Experience in monitoring and evaluation with a background and interest in the analysis of socio-economic issues and related policy matters.
Experience in results based programme development and management.
Experience in the usage of computers and office software packages, experience in handling of web based management systems.
